Children’s Ministry
Kidstown Desk
Welcoming and registering new families, making name tags and showing where age groups gather each Sunday and introduce their teachers.
Nursery Room Leader
Lead a team for children ages 0-2 years old. Teach the provided Bible lesson, craft, and game. Pray with, build relationship with and care for children.
Nursery helper
Caring for children ages 0-2 years old. Support the Room Leader during lessons, crafts, and play. Pray and play with, build relationship with, and care for children.
KidsTown Operations
Welcome and register families. Create nametags, guide children, assist with sign in/sign out and answer questions. Contact parents when needed
during the service.
Kidstown Greeter
Welcome families into Kidstown, direct and help children. Support leaders with supervision and supplies. Help create a fun, welcoming environment.
One-on-One Care for Special Needs
Assist with guiding a special needs child through the activities of a Sunday morning kids worship service.
Large Group Leader
Teach Bible Lessons with provided curriculum. Prepare, rehearse and pray with the teaching team. Encourage and debrief team after service.
Small Group Leader
Lead provided Bible discussions, activities, crafts and games. Encourage faith with kids and create a safe, welcoming group while building relationships with kids and families.
Preschool Room Leader
Lead Bible lessons, crafts, and play for preschoolers. Encourage faith with kids and create a safe, welcoming group while building relationships with kids and families.
Kidstown AV Tech
Arrive early to set up and provide weekly/bi-weekly AV and media tech needs in KidsTown. Run
Pro-presenter program and provide slides if needed. Run pre and post service music and slideshow.
Facility Care Team
Painting Crew
From time to time rooms need to be repainted, if you enjoy painting, please volunteer and put your skills to work.
Sunday Morning Facility Care
Be available for a last minute set up need, provide an quick clean up, Check the washrooms, Lock up the church at 1pm. Available 1 Sunday a month from 8am – 1pm.
Dusting Crew
If you enjoy the simplicity and autonomy of, and the refreshing feel after a good dusting, consider volunteering in this area. Even in winter, this job is never finished.
Lawn Care
If you like taking care of a lawn, sign up to help Eastview's lawn be taken care of.
Gardening
Like most gardens, Eastview needs regular maintaining of weeds and watering. Or do you want to help plant and plan our landscape, let us know!
Fall and/or Spring-Cleaning day!
Tasks, among others, may include dusting, wiping, sweeping, washing & drying and paint touch-ups. Join the fight against dust and reach out!
Repair and Leadership Gifts
If you know a member of Eastview whose life demonstrates a living faith in Jesus, as well as skill in identifying/anticipating needed repairs and experience in leadership, this time and these skills are much desired. Eastview Church is eagerly searching for new voices on the Finance team. Please reach out to leadership@eastview.org to recommend them. Availability needed: 1 monthly board meeting, twice annual general meeting, intermittent facility project attendance.
Pick-up / delivery assistance
From time-to-time materials (furniture, dirt, large tools) need to be transported to/from the church to help with facility care and maintenance. Loading and unloading is always accompanied and supported.
