Lead Pastor – Eastview Community Church
The Lead Pastor will be a person with a vibrant faith in Jesus Christ and will guide a community in deepening discipleship. The Lead Pastor will provide leadership to a multi-generational, community-oriented congregation with a weekly attendance of 475+ and you will lead a team of 10 staff. The Lead Pastor is responsible for developing and leading the vision that will help Eastview live into our mission. The Lead Pastor will oversee the ministries and strategies that will guide Eastview to accomplishing its mission and vision.

Qualifications:
• A deep, inspiring and contagious love for Jesus and a strong and continually growing relationship with Jesus
• Heart for the lost in the community and desire to grow God’s Kingdom
• Alignment and personal commitment to the Canadian Conference of MB Churches Confession of Faith
• Desire to continue learning and developing new skills
Competencies:
• Compelling preaching and public communication
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Ability to foster leadership growth in staff and ministry leaders and identify potential leaders within the church
• Demonstrated record of collaborative leadership, ability to facilitate positive work culture and effectively manage staff
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to connect with all generations
• Ability to build consensus, cast vision pathway and promote shared vision
Responsibilities/Essential Job Duties:
• Preach 30 times per year
• Lead and manage pastoral and ministry staff
Education/Training
• Graduate degree in a related field is preferred
• A credentialed leader with MBCM/CCMBC or willing to complete credentialing as a part of the hiring process.
Experience:
• 10+ years in church, para church or other ministry.
OTHER INFORMATION
Hours: Full-time position and eligible for regular benefits and pension.
Reports to: Eastview Leadership Board
Wage:Eastview offers a compensation package commensurate the MB Church of Manitoba compensation guidelines and benefits, consideration will be given to a successful candidate’s experience.
