Eastview is a church designed to serve both Christians and those who might consider themselves spiritual seekers.
It’s a safe place for people who are looking for answers to their spiritual questions, and simply want to check out Christianity without anyone pressuring them.
It’s also a place where those who have decided to follow Jesus Christ can learn and be encouraged in their spiritual growth.
The mission of our church is summarized in a single sentence based on two key scriptures.
The Great Commandment
Jesus said ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart… soul… and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’
The Great Commission
Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.’
Our Vision is simple:
To become a biblically functioning community of believers so that Christ’s redemptive purposes can be accomplished in this world.
Our Mission is equally clear:
To lead people to Christ and on to maturity in Him.
